Manty’s House

 

Manty’s House is based in East Sussex. The home sits along the south-east coast, close to a major city and thriving town. Manty’s House is a loving home that provides a warm, homely environment where children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties are encouraged and supported to reach their potential.

The Home provides accommodation for two children and or young people. Our loving approach is integral to all our work with the children and young people in our care. Using the PACE therapeutic parenting model alongside our work with the children and young people as well as understanding how to overcome occupational barriers.

Each child or young person has their own bedroom, which can be personalised to their own interests and hobbies.

Children and Young People are encouraged to spend time in the community as suitable and to gain more independence. Manty’s House has direct access to shops and activities and plentiful bus stops with close destinations such as Eastbourne and Brighton.

There is a kitchen and communal lounge with games console and television as well as dining area. The home is complimented with a large wrap around garden with space for growing vegetables and playing sports. As well as in the summer time utilising the space for BBQs.

The home is within walking distance to a large park and outdoor space for children and young people to enjoy. Peacehaven also boasts its own football club with youth groups, as well as a leisure centre.

The property is close to the local shops, amenities and local park. There are many activity centres within the surrounding areas and easily accessible transport facilities to large towns and cities and other destinations.
