I have worked at Mantys since it opened almost 5 years ago and have worked in residential homes with young people for the last 10 years, starting as a residential support worker.
A few things about me
What might you learn quite quickly?
The children know I don’t like rides, so they would never ask me to go to a theme park or fair. I enjoy colouring and cooking. We always say “love you, bye” when we leave.
What do I love about this job?
I love working with everyone here, we feel like a family and we all work well together to help children achieve best outcomes and experiences.
What does love-led care mean to me?
Love-led care to me means doing the things for them that you would do for your own child, to give them the most normal loving upbringing you can at the most important time of their lives.
